10/29: Lodge 49 (AMC) canceled after 2 seasons. Producers are attempting to find a new network for the show.

10/29: HBO will not move forward with a planned Game of Thrones prequel series that was to star Naomi Watts. A second GoT prequel series (based on the book Fire & Blood) is still in contention, for now. UPDATE 5pm: HBO has indeed given a 10-episode order to the other prequel series, to be titled House of the Dragon. It will center on the House Targaryen, and Miguel Sapochnik and Ryan Condal will be the showrunners. No cast or launch date has been announced.

10/29: Another Life (Netflix) renewed for a 2nd season.

10/28: ABC has given full-season pickups to its new fall shows mixed-ish and Stumptown and sophomore drama The Rookie, though exact episode counts haven't been announced. The network's other newcomer, Emergence, was designed to run for just 13 episodes this season so will not get an expansion (but will still be considered for a renewal at a later date).

10/25: The CW has given full-season pickups to its new fall shows Batwoman and Nancy Drew. Both will now have full 22-episode seasons.

10/24: Modern Love (Prime Video) renewed for a 2nd season.

10/24: Marvel's Cloak & Dagger (Freeform) canceled after 2 seasons.

10/24: gen:LOCK (Rooster Teeth) renewed for a 2nd season, which will move to the new HBO Max streaming service. (Rooster Teeth First subscribers will get the new episodes after a three-month delay.)

10/23: The beloved animated series Adventure Time has been revived by HBO Max, which will air a series of four hour-long specials in 2020.

10/22: CBS has given full-season pickups to four freshman shows: All Rise, Bob ♥ Abishola, Carol's Second Act, and The Unicorn.

10/22: Evil (CBS) renewed for a 2nd season (though the 1st season will not be extended beyond its original 13-episode order).

10/18: High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (Disney+) renewed for a 2nd season ahead if its series premiere next month.

10/18: Bless the Harts (Fox) renewed for a 2nd season. It is the first new fall show to earn a renewal.

10/18: Bluff City Law (NBC) will end its debut season with its 10th episode, despite a previous order of 6 additional scripts. While the show has technically not been canceled, a second season seems extremely unlikely.

10/17: The Late Show With Stephen Colbert (CBS) extended by 3 years, taking the show though August 2023.

10/16: Pandora (CW) renewed for a 2nd season.

10/16: Why Women Kill (CBS All Access) renewed for a 2nd season as an anthology series (i.e., it will feature an all-new set of characters).

10/15: Sunnyside (NBC) canceled after 3 episodes, becoming the first cancellation of the fall season. One more episode will air this week, and the remaining seven episodes will be made available online (on a weekly basis). Will and Grace will take over the Thursday 9:30p timeslot beginning October 24.

10/15: Apple TV+ has revealed 2nd-season renewals for Dickinson, For All Mankind, Home Before Dark, Little America, and See and has confirmed a previously announced renewal for The Morning Show well ahead of any of those shows' premiere dates. The streaming service will launch in November.

10/15: The Outpost (CW) renewed for a 3rd season.

10/10: Holey Moley (ABC) renewed for a 2nd season.

10/8: CW has extended the 2nd season of All American by 3 episodes to a total of 16.
